Commercial Collectable vehicles are defined as automobiles built originally as “working vehicles” that are sought-after by enthusiasts. Also known as “light commercials,” this category primarily consists of car- and truck-based utility vehicles, like Aussie utes and US pickup trucks.

Collectable commercial vehicles for sale in Australia also include panel vans from the likes of Holden, Ford and Chrysler, as well as other car- and truck-based vans (aka Sedan Delivery and Panel Delivery vehicles).

Cabover-style cargo vans and box vans from American, European and British manufacturers (eg. International Metro, Dodge A100, Citroen H van, Renault 4 Fourgonnette, Morris J van, Ford Transit, Bedford CF, etc.) and selected Volkswagen Type 2 vans and tray trucks can also be found for sale in Australia, with the rise of the “food truck” trend resulting in more of these classics, rare and unusual vans coming on to the Australian market.

Former ambulances, hearses and light-duty tow trucks (original, restored or customised) are also welcome in this category, but classic and custom examples are preferred, with newer examples in stock condition only listed at JUST CARS’ discretion.

Buying a collectable commercial vehicle in Australia presents a range of options, but the likes of box vans and ex-ambulances are less popular here than the Aussie-made utes and American-made pickup trucks.

NOTE: The ‘collectable’ element of this category is key and refers to vehicles sought after by enthusiasts.  Vehicles 25 years old and older are suitable, but commonly-available late-model vehicles, like modern dual-cab utes (HiLux, Ranger, Navara, etc.) and delivery vans (HiAce, iLoad, Trafic, Berlingo, etc.) are unsuitable for this category. Newer-model utes, pickups and vans that are high-performance models (eg. Ford Ranger Raptor, HSV SportsCat) or have been subject to extensive modification inside and out (ie. as a show vehicle) may be listed at JUST CARS’ discretion.

Listing of ANY Commercial Collectable vehicle is subject to JUST CARS’ discretion.

To be suitable for listing in this category, vehicles MUST be in complete or near complete condition, even if disassembled. Groups of random parts and vehicles regarded as being beyond near-complete condition will not be listed.
